Penguin Experiments

We have been learning all about PENGUINS. To see how strong the muscles need to be on a penguin's tummy, we used the boogie boards to race each other. The children found this very difficult but lots of fun!

Using cushions (for a penguin tummy) and a ball (penguin egg) resting on our feet, we discovered how tricky it is for a penguin to protect it's egg. We also discovered that we waddled when we tried to walk with our egg.

Beebot Challenge

We have been using the Beebots to learn about angles, directions, shape and space.

Indoor Snowball Fight

The snow has all gone from the mountain so we decided to have an indoor snowball fight! It was so much fun. Scrap paper produced great fake snowballs.

It's snow beautiful

Look at our beautiful winter silhouettes. I love how the children have made their winter skies swirl with snow - it makes their paintings look really cold!

Taking down Goliath

We have been learning about how a small boy called David was able to defeat a giant called Goliath. This story taught us to have an overcoming attitude and believe that God is on our side. We created a life-size Goliath to remind us just how powerful God is!

Even Miss Lyttle got in on the action!
